Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19, Paris Aéroport staff is on duty to welcome, inform and give orientation to all our valued customers.
Due to the official announcement of different countries to restrein the access of their territory, airlines must adapt their flight schedule accordingly. Some States have decided to limit the entry of their territory to EU citizens.
WEARING A MASK IS COMPULSORY IN AIRPORTS AND PLANES as of 11 May 2020.
CAUTION! By local administrative decision, and until 30 October 2020, only passengers, as well as people accompanying children traveling alone or under 18, people accompanying passengers with disabilities or vulnerable people, can access to the terminals of Paris-CDG and Paris-Orly airports.

Some airlines change terminals
To make it easier for all passengers to travel and fulfil all boarding procedures, operations have been reorganised and some airlines moved their operations to new terminals. Please, pay attention to the new dedicated terminal.
Paris-CDG Airport:
Terminal 1, 2D, 2G and 3 are temporarily closed until further notice

Long-distance travel restrictions for passengers departing from/arriving in Paris
CAUTION: passengers are required to show a sworn statement attesting they have no Covid-19 symptoms, for all kind of destinations. This document is handed out / must be handed out to your airline at boarding.
Travelling within the UE
Reopening of the borders in the European zone as from June 15th 2020
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Minister for the Interior have announced that restrictions on travel to France from countries in the European zone (EU Member States, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican) will be lifted from 15 June midnight. Travellers from these European countries will no longer need an international travel certificate and will not be subject to any form of quarantine.
Some countries from the EU zone may have not followed the EU recommendation regarding the opening of the inner EU borders as from June 15th. You may find the applying regulation for each state, in this website dedicated to the travelers advises.

If you must imperatively return to the Schengen Area
All non-European citizens are no longer able to enter the Schengen area.
Except for:
• Citizens of the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, San Marin, Monaco, Andorra and Vatican
• Foreign citizens holding a French residence permit or a European residence permit returning home.
• People in charge of goods transportation.
• Health professionals mobilized in the fight against Covid-19.
This does not apply to connecting passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
The other categories of people will be refused entry on the grounds on the basis of Articles 6§1 and 14 of the Schengen Borders Code.
International travel to/from France
French authorities constantly re-evaluate health situations worldwide and established different lists of countries for which entry conditions on the French territory may differ. Those lists bear in mind the health situation depending on the virus Covid-19 circulation.
France established a list of countries / destinations where the virus circulation is limited:
• The European Area (EU member states, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, The United Kingdom, Saint-Marin, Vatican and Switzerland)
• And the following listed countries: Australia, Canada, South Korea, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New-Zealand, Rwanda, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay (this list is updated every 2 weeks upon EU recommendations)
Passengers arriving from the above listed countries are no longer subject to travel restrictions and may enter the French Territory complying with usual regulations and providing they possess the right usual entry documents.
As of August 1st 2020 – France established a list of 16 countries where is the virus is very actively circulating. Consequently, it will not be possible anymore to enter the French territory without providing a negative PCR Test :
• Carried out 72hrs prior to departure: The United Arab Emirates, the United-States, Bahreïn, Panama
Passengers coming from these listed countries must provide a negative PCR Test before boarding for France (even those transiting through France). Boarding will be denied by the airline for those who do not. It will not be possible anymore to travel to France if you cannot provide evidence that you are not infected by the Covid-19 virus.
• Carried out 72hrs prior to departure or at your arrival at the airport in Paris: South Africa, Algeria, Brasil, India, Israel, Koweït, Madagascar, Oman, Peru, Qatar, Serbia, Turkey.
A PCR test is mandatory when arriving from on of those countries where the virus is circulating very actively and where it is difficult/impossible to get tested before traveling. Consequently, you will be asked to get tested upon your arrival right after disembarking. Test results will be sent by the medical laboratory by e-mail. In the meantime, passengers are expected to isolate themselves to protect others.
Passengers coming from these 16 above listed countries, international travels to and from the European Union is still subject to authorization: each person wishing to travel abroad must hold a document certifying on their honor the reason for their trip. This certificate can be downloaded from the website of the French Ministry of the Interior or can be written on plain paper, and passengers must provide all justification documents. Violation of travel bans is punishable by a fine of 135 euros.
France established a list of countries/destinations where the virus is actively circulating: all other countries.
Entering the French territory is no longer possible for these countries unless for specific imperious reasons and for French citizens or people living in France.
Passengers coming from these countries, international travels to and from the European Union is still subject to authorisation: each person wishing to travel abroad must hold a document certifying on their honour the reason for their trip. This certificate can be downloaded from the website of the French Ministry of the Interior or can be written on plain paper, and passengers must provide all justificating documents. Violation of travel bans is punishable by a fine of 135 euros.
Every passenger coming from one of these countries and wishing to enter the French territory, is strongly invited to show a negative PCR test, carried out less than 72 hrs prior to departure, to cross the border faster. Passengers which may have not been able to get tested before departure, are invited by French Health authorities and Paris Hospitals organisation (AP-HP) to get tested upon arrival in the dedicated testing center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (Terminal 2E and Terminal 2AC) and Paris-Orly (Orly 4 – l’Arche) Airports. Biological results are sent by e-mail within 36hrs after being tested.
Furthermore, all passengers coming from these countries are invited to observe a 14-day voluntary quarantine period to protect themselves and protect others.
CAUTION!
If, initially, you were supposed to travel abroad
Until further notice, the French State advises the French citizens against traveling abroad (except Schengen area and authorized countries), in view of the travel restrictions in France and the measures taken by many countries at often very short notice (interruption of air links, ban on entry into the territory, compulsory isolation, etc.).
Airlines inform their passengers of the restrictions in place for them in the country of arrival. Passengers will be not allowed to board if they are not allowed to travel in the country of arrival.
If you must travel between the hexagon and the French overseas territories
The sanitary situation within the overseas territories, forced the French government to impose strict 14-day quarantine period when entering those territories to protect local people. Regarding the positive evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic in the Overseas, new regulations have been set up.
Travel restrictions to Guyana, Mayotte, French Polynesia, New-Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna :
Travel restrictions apply to passengers traveling to Guyana, Mayotte, French Polynesia, New-Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna, except passengers with an imperious reason:
• personal or familial reasons ;
• urgent health situations ;
• professional concerns which cannot be postponed.
In order to travel towards those destinations, passengers must show at the boarding / check-in with the airline : ,
• a negative PCR test carried out less than 72hrs prior to the departures,
• all documents justifying the imperious reason for traveling and a sworn statement attesting the imperious reason.

Health related protocol to access to Overseas territories : Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion island, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthelemy, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
All passengers are invited to get a PCR test maximum 72 hrs prior to departure. No medical prescription is needed to get tested : you can show your booking confirmation. The negative PCR test will be checked before boarding by the airline.
All passengers with a positive PCR test will be denied boarding.
Passengers transferring at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport
Paris-CDG Airport is open and welcomes passengers transferring between two flights.
For passengers with an “integrated” transfer (one single booking reference number booked to one airline):
Your luggage will be transferred automatically by your airline from check-in until final destination, including a PCR test if it’s necessary. Your are entitled to remain airside to transfer. Follow the yellow transfer signs indicating your next departure terminal. You must possess and be able to show all necessary travel documents for your entry for your final destination.
For passenger “self-connecting” (two booking reference numbers, booked with two separate airlines) :
• You must fulfil all entry conditions on the French territory and be able to present all relevant documents, in order to collect your luggage and check it in with your next airline.
• If you do not meet all requirements to enter the French territory, you will have to remain airside, and contact as soon as possible both airlines to make sure your luggage are rushed onto your next flight.
All transfers longer than 24hrs are prohibited.
Reinforced health-related measures at Paris Aéroport
In compliance with the EASA and ECDC recommendations, parisian airports have set reinforced sanitary measures to prevent all risk related to Covid-19.
CAUTION! Temperature checks at arrivals
For your protection, Paris Aéroport is setting up temperature screenings with thermal cameras at your arrival in Paris, in the luggage delivery area. If your temperature is above 38°C, you will be invited to proceed to a second temperature check with a contact-less thermometer. If your temperature is confirmed above the indicated level, we will suggest you a medical visit with a doctor who will, if required, offer you to be tested with a COVID-19 PCR test.
CAUTION! Temperature checks at departures
Some airlines have set up checking of passengers’ body temperature before boarding and/or ask their passengers to attest of non-Covid19 symptoms to be able to travel. We invite you to contact your airline to precisely know which requirements have been set up.

In order to change or cancel a service booked online* on our website parisaeroport.fr (car park, luggage services, public transport expect Le Bus Direct, sightseeing tickets):
• Visit parisaeroport.fr and access your personal account
• Log into your personal account
• Access the dedicated service “Manage my bookings” to cancel any coming booking

Changing a service booked online on parisaeroport.fr is not possibile. Should you wish to change or postpone your online reservation, please proceed to the cancellation of this service and make a new online reservation for the appropriate dates.
Change or cancel a car park booked online at Paris Aéroport
The Customer may cancel a Reservation, using the “My Account” personal space on the Paris Aéroport Website or the Paris Aéroport Application, up to 6 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of entry to the car park, at no extra charge. He will then get a full refund of the price paid. This refund will be transferred to the account associated with the card used to make the Reservation, no later than 48 hours following the cancellation. The Customer may not cancel a Reservation less than 6 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of entry to the car park.
If the duration of your booking on one of the car parks at Paris-CDG and Paris-Orly is exceeded due to a cancellation / delay of your flight to Paris:
• Your vehicle will be able to stay at its place until your return.
• Contact the duty officer from the intercom located on the ticket machines or at the exit barrier: he will be able to advise you and help you leave the car park.
• If necessary, please use this online form to send proof of delay and booking information to our customer service department who will be able to study your situation and get back to you directly.
