What measures is ADM Aéroports de Montréal taking to protect airport passengers and workers?

The public health authorities of Canada and Quebec are issuing recommendations and new measures to be put in place for prevention. We work closely with the authorities to provide you with the tools and advice.

To ensure the safest and most enjoyable trip, we have implemented a program: Travel with Confidence at YUL.

Among the various measures, let us highlight:

  • Disinfection frequencies added in areas where passengers pass daily;
  • Complete disinfection of the primary inspection area after the passage of certain targeted flights;
  • Addition of disinfectant gel dispensers, especially in the arrivals corridor, in the border services hall and in the baggage carousel area;
  • 90% removal of carts for more efficient cleaning;
  • Removal of all commercial carts in the international departures area;
  • Maintenance teams available to intervene and add additional frequencies;
  • Hand washing poster campaign deployed in all terminal bathrooms.
  • Finally, since March 16, messages regarding the importance of the 14-day self-isolation are being deployed in the terminal via signage and the public announcement system. Additional signage is also in place in the terminal building.

Restaurants

  • Reduction of the seating capacity of food courts by 50%;
  • Redevelopment of seating in food courts by keeping every second table free (eg removing chairs).

Parking for passengers

As of March 16, the shuttle service remains available only to returning passengers who had parked their vehicle in one of YUL’s remote parking lots. Additional measures have also been deployed:

  • All EconoParc type parking lots (P5-P6-P7-P8-P9) are closed indefinitely in order to limit the use of shuttle buses for passengers.
  • The only parking available for travelers is the multi-level parking lot, located in front of and within walking distance of the terminal.

Parking lots for employees

Since March 23, all employees have access to nearby parking.

This measure was implemented in order to avoid the use of shuttles to transport employee
