We fully understand that you may be experiencing stress and disruption during this global pandemic situation with travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events. We would like to inform you that we are constantly monitoring the situation and adapting all required measures as advised by local and Global authorities.

The below precautionary and response measures are helping us to continuously provide a safe and clean environment:

 – Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place at all Leela Hotels, detailing how to protect against transmission of the virus (including implementing hand sanitizer stations and frequent and cleaning of high-contact areas and surfaces), and identification of escalation process in case there is a suspected or confirmed case among our guests or colleagues

 – Cross-functional response teams, including round-the-clock doctor assistance and occupational health experts, to provide guidance to our hotels and help address specific requests when needed

We understand the need of flexibility required in travel plans and considering the current situation, we have amended our policy for guests with existing individual reservations and are waiving cancellation fees for hotel stays up to 30th September, 2020. If you wish to modify or cancel your booking, please contact The Leela Reservations Contact Centre’s Toll-free number at 1800 1031 444.

Guests, who have booked through a travel agent or other third parties, are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their cancellation policies and for group bookings, contact your meeting organiser for further assistance.

Beyond the measures taken above, we would sincerely appreciate your co-operation, with regard to preventing the spread of the coronavirus. If you experience flu-like symptoms and need an appointment with a doctor while you are in the hotel, please let our associates know immediately, so that we can ensure our collective well-being.

  • Regular temperature checks of all guests, associates and partners upon entering the hotel premises
  • Alarms for all the associates as a reminder to sanitise themselves
  • Rigorous deep cleaning and application of disinfectants in guest rooms, fitness centres and restaurants
  • Cleaning of all high-touch points like door handles, elevator buttons, counter tops, table tops and railings with disinfectant at regular intervals
  • Use of hotel cars for transferring guests to ensure maximum safety
  • Sanitisation and inspection of all cars by the concierge team before and after every transfer
  • Deployment of task force under the guidance of our partners and a dedicated Hygiene Manager, to ensure that all protocols are strictly followed across all hotels

Maintaining highest standards of food hygiene

  • Restaurant seating to ensure social distancing
  • Introduction of an e-menu that can be viewed by guests on their respective phones
  • Use of hand sanitisers in restaurants
  • Introduction of natural immunity-boosting beverages, which will help our guests stay healthy
  • Washing and sanitisation of vegetables, fruits and groceries
  • Preparation of food in small quantities to ensure fresh food is served to the guests
  • Washing of all dishes at 80 degrees Celsius

  • Contactless check in and check out facility provided with the privilege of paying through phone at check out
  • Use of high bar pressure dry steam cleaners
  • Electrostatic sprayers, a hospital-grade disinfectant
